The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) shared the importance of partnership between the Philippines and Japan in achieving the strategies set in the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022.
In an interview last Friday by TV Tokyo for an episode of Future Century Zipangu, Undersecretary Rosemarie G. Edillon shared that Japan has been a partner of the Philippines in sustaining economic growth through investments in infrastructure and construction.
“We are looking for Japan for financial assistance to achieve the strategies set in the PDP, ” the NEDA Official said.
Edillon also expressed her appreciation to Japan for helping the country especially in producing transport roadmaps – a part of infrastructure development. Furthermore, she shared the foundations of the PDP which includes achieving inclusive growth, resilient society, and globally competitive economy.
She also said that NEDA is very optimistic on the Dutertenomics which promotes massive infrastructure spending.
Future Century Zipangu is an economic and business television series produced by TV Tokyo that introduces countries that have close relations with Japan and other countries that are becoming increasingly important.
