It is also anchored on Malasakit, Pagbabago, and Patuloy na Pag-unlad or the long term vision’s three pillars that aims to enhance the social fabric, reduce inequality, and increase potential growth in Cordillera. This will be the first plan to be implemented from the four medium term plans to be crafted and implemented until 2040.
Regional Director Milagros A. Rimando of the NEDA Regional Office in CAR explained that the RDC secretariat and NEDA CAR, conducted a series of provincial, regional consultations with its partners from regional line agencies including government-owned and controlled corporations, local government units, and private sector representatives, to ensure that regional issues and concerns are considered in the identification and formulation of strategies, policies and programs of the Cordillera RDP 2017-20122.
