The NEDA Regional Office in Western Visayas (NRO VI) conducted an orientation for professors and students of Yeungnam University (YU), in South Korea about the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2017-2022 and the region’s major programs and projects on July 9 at Jalaur Conference Room, NRO VI Building, Iloilo City. The MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC) approved the Regional Development Investment Program (RDIP) 2017-2022 during its 61st Full Council meeting held on December 8 in Pasig City. The meeting was presided over by MIMAROPA Chairperson and Governor Jose C. Alvarez of Palawan. It was attended by regional directors of national government agencies, executives of local government units (LGUs) and private sector leaders. Governor Alfonso V.
