As part of the advocacy activities of the NEDA Regional Office (NRO) VI, spearheaded by its Regional Director Ro-Ann A. Bacal and through the coordination of the NRO’s Development Research Division (DRD), the AmBisyon Natin 2040 videos were shown in SM Cinema 1 prior to the screenings of the featured Ilonggo short films and restored classic films by master Filipino filmmakers. AmBisyon Natin 2040 advocacy items such as shirts, tote bags and key chains were also distributed to the movie goers through a raffle draw of the cinema tickets.
Through the facilitation and support of the Western Visayas Filmmakers Network (WVFN), the showing of the Ambisyon Natin 2040 promotional videos was made possible. The WVFN is headed by artist, filmmaker and CineKasimanwa Festival Director Elvert C. Banares
