The NEDA Regional Office (NRO) X launched last December 14 the Regional Socioeconomic Analysis and Research Center (RESEARCH-X), a database system of key economic and social statistical information that covers four major sectors namely: macro, social, economic and infrastructure. Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Mae Ester T. Guiamadel of NRO X welcomed some 40 participants representing the media, members from the Regional Association of Government Communicators (RAGCOM), Regional Statistics Committee, and the academe. “The system is intended to provide a better platform for easy access of frequently requested regional and local socioeconomic data,” ARD Guiamadel said.
