The National Economic and Development Authority emphasized that the next years of Duterte’s administration will focus on the implementation of the strategies set in the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022.
In an interview with Ria Fernandez of People’s Television (PTV) last week, Undersecretary Rosemarie Edillon said that more projects will be executed as part of realizing the vision of the Filipino people.
“We have already launched the PDP last June 2. Now we focus on the implementation of the strategies in the PDP through the projects of government agencies,” the NEDA official said.
Prior to the launch, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed EO 27 that requires all government agencies to align their projects with the strategies in the PDP.
The PDP is the first of the four medium term plans anchored on AmBisyon Natin 2040.
The interview aired on PTV’s Duterte 1-year Special last June 30.
