Gov’t transparency key to achieving a high-trust society – NEDA

Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto M. Pernia highlighted the importance of transparency in government to achieve a high-trust society, as envisioned in AmBisyon Natin 2040. He discussed this in a forum on Freedom of Information (FOI) held recently, that aimed to deepen the engagement between government and reform partners in pursuing for transparency, accountability, and citizen participation. CHED endorses support for NEDA’s campaign on Ambisyon Natin 2040 and PDP 2017-2022

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) issued a memorandum signed by CHED Chair Patricia Licuanan, endorsing its support in the information, education and communication campaign for Ambisyon Natin 2040 and the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022. In the memorandum addressed to all CHED central and regional directors, presidents/heads of public and private higher education institutions (HEIs), participation in the campaign of officials, employees and students from private HEIs shall be voluntary. NEDA, RDC Central Luzon lead PDP and Ambisyon Natin 2040 motorcade

The Regional Development Council (RDC) and the NEDA Regional Office in Central Luzon (NRO 111) led a motorcade to raise awareness on the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017 – 2022 and Ambisyon Nation 2040 last June 14. The motorcade started from the Government Center, San Fernando City to the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) in Mariveles, Bataan.
