The NEDA Regional Office in Bicol (NRO V) briefed students taking masteral and doctoral degrees from the Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Good Governance Bicol University (BU) on Ambisyon Natin 2040, the 2017-2022 Philippine Development Plan (PDP) and Bicol Regional Development Plan (RDP). This was during the Symposium on Ambisyon Natin 2040 and Effective Local Governance on February 10 at BU College of Science and Philosophy, Daraga, Albay.
The symposium aimed to encourage students in advocating the Ambisyon Natin 2040, PDP and RDP and in contributing to the attainment of strategies toward developmental outcomes, objectives and long-term vision.
Ms. Michelle B. Brosas of NRO V discussed Ambisyon Natin 2040 while Atty. Gieza R. Esparraguerra also from NRO V, presented the PDP and Bicol RDP to the students.
Meanwhile, some BS Economics and BS Management students were also invited to attend the symposium. They expressed their gratitude for the conduct of the event for they gained knowledge about Ambisyon Natin 2040, PDP and Bicol RDP.
The activity was spearheaded by BU’s Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Good Governance Student Council.
